Toy Story 3

I was just reading on Yahoo that Pixar and Disney are planning on making a Toy Story 3. I was excited as a little kid to hear this news because I love the original Toy Story. I thought Pixar was very creative coming up with a concept that toys can actually come to life and have an adventure. I just watched the trailer for the third Toy Story and I was relieved that they kept Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as the voices of Buzz and Woody. Some movies when they go to a trilogy they sometimes do not keep the same actors. The plot for the third Toy Story is great the trailer alone had me laughing. Its about how Andy( the toys owner) is older now and is going off to college so he donates his toys to a daycare where they meet other old and used toys. I would love to see them put this movie in 3d on Imax.

  1. I saw the 3D-IMAX preview for TS3 this week when we screened ALICE at Providence Place (hint: even the IMAX movies are only $6 on Tuesdays!) and it looked pretty great. Not sure about owning a 3D-HDTV yet (sorry Sony) but this made me want to not only see that one, but also seek out AVATAR in 3D...

  2. I went to the Taunton Silver City Galleria to see Avatar only to be disappointed that they were not updated enough to show 3D films. Though I enjoyed the movie I think 3D movies are really worth the money since you can't typically see them at home. Alice in Wonderland is probably a great 3D experience and I plan to see it in the near future. However, TS3 will most likely be my favorite 3D movie since I loved the first two. I am pleased to hear that they have not changed Woody and Buzz’s voices. I think I would not see the movie if they did. My cousin use to love SpongeBob Square Pants, but I noticed recently he refuses to watch it now. His response was that SpongeBob no longer seemed funny because his voice was different. It’s strange to see that a slight change can modify the audience’s interest. Now I understand why people lose interest in trilogies and shows.
