Internship and Grad School
I have been thinking to myself lately about looking into Grad schools soon even thought I am not graduating this year I would still like to look into the early. One of my main reasons of going would be if I am not able to land a job when I get out of school. I am going to try and apply for an internship @ comcast sportsnet but I can not assume I will get that or any other internship I apply for and even if I do internship at Comcast there is no guarantee I will get the job when I am done. I was wondering if anybody knew about some great Grad Schools to look into for media studies like film production and editing? Those are what I want to learn about more if I am going to attend Grad School.

There are a host of great schools out there--the key is to be really clear what you want to go for. I recommend applying for at least six schools--and I recommend expanding your search beyond New England. Are you looking to do advanced work in terms of television work? Broadcast policy? Media studies? There's a lot of different ways to go... Come in to office hours and let's talk!
ReplyDeleteHey nick, This is Mark, i know you, i was in video editing last semester. Anyway, I heard that northeastern has a great grad program for communications, although it is pretty expensive there. There is also connecticut school of broadcasting. I'm pretty sure either BC or BU has an outstanding communications program as well. Good luck man, it's a tough world, you gotta just keep on pushing through and doing the best you can.
